For second-year BBA students, Axis Colleges hosts an orientation program that includes interactive activities and enriching sessionsFor second-year BBA students, Axis Colleges hosted an engaging and thought-provoking Orientation Program that kicked off the new academic year with zeal, inspiration, and an emphasis on holistic growth.Dr. Dipti Singh Tomar, Head of the Department of Management, gave a welcome talk to the students and led an energizing session on the value of self-control, commitment, and goal-setting in the second year of study.Ms. Kirandeep Kaur, Head of the Placement Cell, gave a special speech during the orientation, sharing her knowledge of the latest trends in the sector, placement tactics, and the value of internships and certifications. She also outlined the PDP and Training Cell’s several programs aimed at preparing students for careers in the workforce.The Stress Management Session, which taught students how to handle academic pressure and preserve their emotional health, was a major highlight of the day. During the seminar, strategies including positive thinking, mindfulness, and time management were discussed.In order to improve their domain knowledge and skill sets, students were also urged to sign up for online certification courses on the NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) platform. The benefits of these government-sponsored MOOCs in improving employment opportunities were described by faculty.A Management Quiz, team-building games, and group discussions were among the interactive events planned in addition to the presentations. In addition to increasing excitement, these exercises promoted cooperation and peer contact.Students were inspired and ready for the upcoming school year after the successful conclusion of the orientation program.
