FirstStride 2025- A New Beginning! AXIS INSTITUTE OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY successfully hosted the Bachelor of Fashion and Apparel Design (BFAD) 1st year & Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA) 1st year Orientation Program at Axis Colleges, Kanpur August 27, 2025.

The event was held with enthusiasm and active participation, marking the beginning of a new academic chapter for students. It was attended by the Director, HOD, Chief Guest and all faculty members from the AIFT Department. The event was graced by Dr. Biswa Ranjan Das, “Scientist F’ and Joint Director at DMSRDE, DRDO, Ministry of Defence, is a distinguished expert in defence protective textiles.

As a key speaker, he motivated students to strive for excellence in their studies and future careers.During this significant celebration, the students were felicitated for their Academic Excellence through certificates.

This honour not only acknowledged their dedication but also inspired others, motivating peers to pursue excellence.

Programme Highlights includes Ceremonial lamp lighting, showcasing departmental presentation, students & Alumni’s achievements, enlightened students about college code of conduct, Axis ERP, library session, Swayam courses for Skill development, Training & Placement opportunities.

Students eagerly participated in a range of learning and interactive activities, creating a vibrant and engaging environment.

The event ended on a high note, leaving the new BFAD students & BFA students at Axis Colleges feeling more confident and motivated as they began their academic journey.
