Induction Program Organized by B.Tech. CSE/IT Department
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology organized an Induction Program for B.Tech. CSE 2nd Year and M.Tech. 1st Year students with great enthusiasm and participation.
The program commenced with a presentation by the department faculties, who briefed the students about the departmental activities, academic guidelines, and rules & regulations. This session aimed to orient the students with the culture of the department and motivate them to actively engage in upcoming academic and co-curricular initiatives.
Following this, an Alumni Interaction Session was held where distinguished alumni from the Batch of 2023 shared their valuable experiences. Ms. Anusha Gupta (HCL Technologies), Mr. Aman Trivedi (Sopra Steria), and Mr. Rishabh Sharma (Delhivery) addressed the students and inspired them by sharing insights from their academic journey at Axis Colleges and their transition into the professional world.
The highlight of the program was an Expert Session by Mr. Vijay Kumar Jaiswal, HR Director of Pie Infotech Pvt. Ltd., who enlightened the students about the current industry scenarios, required skill sets, and career opportunities in the IT sector. His address provided students with a clear understanding of industry expectations and future prospects.
The induction program proved to be a fruitful platform, successfully bridging the gap between academic learning and industry demands, while also fostering alumni-student bonding.
