The Department of Computer Science & Engineering is proud to share that Mr. Abhay Kumar Gond, a B.Tech CSE Final Year student, along with his team, has successfully participated in the GCC Innovation Summit 2025 held at IIT Kanpur.

The team showcased their innovation as part of the Researchers & Innovators Pavilion, representing Axis Colleges at a national platform.

Among more than 1000 researchers selected from across the country, the team presented their start-up innovation “SmartGuard – Flood Alert System”, an advanced IoT and AI-driven solution designed to deliver real-time flood alerts, support timely evacuation, and enhance community resilience during natural disasters.

We are delighted to announce that SmartGuard has now secured collaboration with the Incubation & Innovation Centre (IIC), IIT Kanpur, marking a major achievement for the team. This collaboration opens doors for future mentorship, start-up incubation, and potential large-scale deployment of the solution.

This milestone reflects the dedication and innovative spirit of our students and reinforces the institution’s commitment to fostering research, technology-driven problem-solving, and entrepreneurship.
