Axis College continued its tradition of fostering holistic development by recently organizing a highly successful chess competition exclusively for its Civil and Mechanical Engineering students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and showcased the students’ sharp intellect and strategic prowess in the game of chess.

The competition provided a valuable platform for the budding engineers to engage in a mentally stimulating activity outside their rigorous academic curriculum. It also facilitated interaction and healthy competition between students from the two branches.

The atmosphere in the venue was intense yet friendly, filled with the quiet focus of players deeply engrossed in their games.In the individual category, Nihal B.Tech Second Year Civil Engineering demonstrated exceptional chess skills, navigating complex scenarios and outmaneuvering opponents to clinch the championship.

Vinay Maurya from B.Tech Third Year Mechanical Engineering secured the second position after a series of well-fought matches.

Dr. Ashish Malik, Director of Axis College, lauded the students for their enthusiastic participation and the successful organization of the event. He stated, “At Axis College, we are committed to nurturing well-rounded individuals.
