Pharmacovigilance

Axis Colleges organized a two-day workshop on “Pharmacovigilance” for Pharmacy students from 8 April 2023, in association with Institutions Innovation Council of Axis Institute of Pharmacy, and Raywings Learning Campus.
The main goal of this workshop was to make pharmacy professional aware of the importance of Pharmacovigilance in their future careers.
Students learned about pharmacovigilance, a modern instrument in high demand in the pharmaceutical industry. This included ADR (Adverse Drug Reaction), AE (Adverse Events), and SE (Side Effects), as well as hands-on experience with Pharmacovigilance Software with the General tab, Patient tab, Product tab, Event tab, Analysis tab, and Regulatory report tab, as all of these are critical components of vigilance, which is a growing industry today.
