Visit to DMSRDE

On 12 May, in honor of National Technology Day 2023, Institutions Innovation Council of Axis Colleges organized an Industrial Visit for Electronics and Communication Engineering students at the Defence Materials and Stores Research and Development Establishment (DMSRDE), Kanpur. It is a globally recognized CoE that was established to make India the leader in strategic non-metallic and specialty materials.
The purpose of this research-based industrial visit is to teach the students how to build their thought processes from subjective information and apply it practically to the construction of equipment. Axians gained physical exposure as well as the skills and technology that went into the development of various equipment such as Additive Run diesel, Engine Starting Aid Capsules, Anti-riot helmets, Auto Rust & Scale inhibitors (ARS-70), Carbon Silicon Carbide Composite for Jet Vanes, Stealth Material for Tejas aircraft, and so on.
