The “Infosys Foundation – Finishing School for Employability” program was recently organized by Axis Colleges in proud partnership with the ICT Academy and the Infosys Foundation. This program was specifically intended for individuals who are enrolled in engineering programs at Axis Colleges. The purpose of this effort was to provide students with important skills that are relevant to the industry in order to improve their employability and better their readiness for the professional world.
The event was based around the highly sought-after topic of Data Analytics with Power BI, which is a powerful business intelligence tool that is extensively utilized across sectors for the purpose of data visualization, reporting, and decision-making. Students received practical instruction on how to analyze complicated datasets, develop interactive dashboards, and draw actionable insights, all of which are skills that are essential in today’s data-driven employment market.
Students were directed through the workshops by knowledgeable instructors from the ICT Academy, who made certain that they obtained both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise. In this course, we covered fundamental ideas of data processing, methodologies for visualization, and best practices for utilizing Power BI to solve real-world business challenges.
This relationship is in line with the aim of Axis Colleges, which is to provide students with cutting-edge skills and exposure to current technology in order to bridge the gap that exists between academia and industry. The Finishing School program not only improved students’ technical skills, but it also helped them develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which enabled them to boldly tackle the competitive job environments that they would encounter in the future.
Axis Colleges continues to reinforce its commitment to holistic education and career development by working with prominent organizations such as ICT Academy and Infosys Foundation. This helps the college prepare its students to become professionals who are prepared for the future and leaders in the engineering area.
