This milestone in Adhiraj’s career highlights Axis Colleges’ vocational education and hands-on training.
Adhiraj showed attention to his academics and a flair for applied mechanics from the first semester. He excelled in Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Manufacturing Processes, and Fluid Power Systems diploma classes and labs on CAD modeling, metrology, and machine tool operations. Faculty advisors praised his semi-automatic drilling jig with precision depth control, which showed his design and shop floor expertise.
Axis Institute of Diploma Engineering’s Mechanical Engineering curriculum blends theory and practice. In addition to extensive workshop training in lathe operations, milling, welding, and CNC principles, thermodynamics, machine drawing, material science, and hydraulics are taught. Adhiraj took advantage of every opportunity, completing a mini-project on gearbox assembly tolerance optimization and attending a lean manufacturing workshop to prepare for Quality Austria’s tough technical tests.
