BHARAT TEX 2026: An Inspiring Learning Experience
Exploring Innovation and Excellence at Bharat Tex 2026 The students of Axis Institute of Fashion Technology (AIFT) had the privilege of visiting “Bharat Tex 2026”, India’s premier global textile and apparel exhibition, from 14th July to 16th July 2026. The three-day educational visit provided an exceptional opportunity for students to witness the latest innovations, sustainable practices, and technological advancements shaping the future of the textile and fashion industry.
Bharat Tex 2026 brought together leading textile manufacturers, fashion brands, designers, exporters, artisans, and technology providers from across India and around the world. The exhibition showcased the complete textile value chain, including fibers, yarns, fabrics, garments, technical textiles, machinery, handicrafts, and sustainable fashion solutions.
During the visit, AIFT students toured halls showcasing smart textiles, digital-printing techniques, advanced garment-manufacturing equipment and eco-conscious fabric solutions. Live demonstrations and product launches illustrated practical applications of new technologies, while discussions with exhibitors and industry specialists highlighted emerging market demands and global trend directions.
These interactions enriched students’ understanding of both creative and commercial aspects of the trade.Sustainability emerged as a key theme at Bharat Tex 2026. Delegates introduced students to recycled and organic fibers, circular-fashion initiatives, efficient waste-management methods and low-impact manufacturing processes that reduce environmental footprint.
