Strategic Moves and Friendly Battles: Chess and Carrom Competition at Axis Institute of Technology and Management
The Axis Institute of Technology and Management recently held a fun Chess and Carrom Competition that gave students a chance to relax, compete, and show off their strategic thinking and indoor gaming talents. Students from different branches were really excited to take part in the event, which showed how active the institute’s co-curricular culture is.
The tournament was part of the institute’s commitment to helping students grow as whole people. Its goal was to help students develop attention, patience, and strategy, which are just as important in life as they are in school. As students took their seats to outsmart their opponents in chess and master the accuracy needed in carrom, the air was full of excitement, focus, and sportsmanship.
The Chess Competition had difficult, thought-provoking encounters that showed how well players could think critically, make decisions, and plan ahead. Every move was thought out, showing how focused and mentally engaged the players were. The Carrom Competition, on the other hand, was all about talent, accuracy, and delicacy. The players had great control and strategy, which made every match a fascinating battle.
There were many rounds before the finals, and the competitions were well-organized. Throughout the event, faculty coordinators and student volunteers made sure that everything went well, that everyone played fairly, and that everyone was excited to take part. Winners and runners-up in both categories got awards and praise, and all competitors were thanked for showing great sportsmanship and teamwork.
Axis Institute believes in giving students a well-rounded experience that includes both academics and physical and mental activities. Events like this help to support that belief. Competitions like chess and carrom help pupils build resilience, calmness, and confidence. These are all important attributes that will aid them in every area of their lives.
Axis Institute of Technology and Management would like to thank everyone who took part and the organizing staff for making the event a huge success. We still encourage students to take part in fun and competitive activities that make campus life more lively and interesting.
