Industrial Visit to The Department of Irrigation and Water Resources

Axis Colleges organized an Industrial Visit to The Department of Irrigation and Water Resources, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh for Civil Engineering students.
Students learned about the procedures involved in the design and operation of an irrigation lined and unlined canal, a super passage canal aqueduct, a syphon aqueduct, and other structures. At the canal site, students also learned about different types of RCC joints.
Students also visited historical monuments such as the Gomti River Front, the Imaam Bada, and the Labyrinth, where they learned about various engineering aspects such as river training, river lining, retaining walls, ancient building materials, construction techniques, architectural significance, and so on.
