Axis Colleges proudly conducted the inaugural Investiture Ceremony of ‘WINGS – The Axis Colleges Societies and Clubs’ on January 21, 2023, in accordance with this potent conviction. This historic event signified a new chapter in the institution’s pursuit of promoting student leadership, creativity, and holistic development.
The ceremony was a celebration of empowerment, during which students were officially appointed to leadership positions in a variety of societies and organizations as part of the WINGS initiative. These organizations encompass a diverse array of interests, such as technical innovation, cultural arts, literary exploration, entrepreneurship, athletics, and social outreach, all of which are intended to cultivate talent beyond the confines of the classroom.
The newly inducted student leaders took an oath to uphold the values of excellence, collaboration, and responsibility with a sense of pride and purpose. The event was attended by faculty coordinators and mentors from various departments, who congratulated the office bearers and urged them to lead with integrity and vision.
The establishment of WINGS is a bold initiative that aims to establish an ecosystem that fosters co-curricular engagement and instills in students the values of accountability, initiative, and collaboration. These societies will provide students with the opportunity to investigate their interests, develop critical life skills, and make a significant contribution to campus life through consistent community engagement, events, and activities.
The significance of active student participation in the development of a vibrant and inclusive academic culture was underscored by senior members of the Axis Colleges leadership during their address to the assemblage. They commended the students’ enthusiasm and reiterated the institution’s dedication to fostering a supportive environment for future leaders.
