Industrial Visit to Anod Pharma Pvt. Ltd.: Strengthening Practical Learning in Pharmacy
Students of D.Pharm from Axis Institute of Pharmacy, Axis Colleges, recently undertook an educational industrial visit to Anod Pharma Private Limited with the aim of gaining practical exposure to real-time pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. The visit was thoughtfully organized to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial application, enabling students to better understand the functioning of the pharmaceutical sector.
During the visit, students closely observed various stages involved in drug manufacturing, including raw material handling, formulation processes, tablet compression, and modern packaging systems. They were also introduced to essential industrial practices such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety measures, and regulatory guidelines that are strictly followed to maintain product quality and patient safety. This direct exposure helped students relate their classroom learning to real-world industrial practices.
A significant part of the visit focused on understanding Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) systems. Experts at the facility explained how pharmaceutical products undergo rigorous testing and monitoring at different stages to ensure their safety, efficacy, and consistency. Students also got an opportunity to observe advanced equipment used in production and analytical testing, which enhanced their awareness of precision and compliance in pharmaceutical operations.
