Architecture Alumni Career Session
From Campus to Career: Inspiring Alumni Interaction
Axis Institute of Architecture is set to organize an engaging and insightful alumni session titled “From Campus to Career” on 25th March 2026. The session will feature Ar. Radhika Agarwal from the Batch of 2020–2025, who will share her recent journey from being a student of architecture to stepping into the professional world.
This initiative aims to bridge the gap between academic life and real-world practice, offering students a clear perspective on what lies beyond studio submissions, juries, and classroom learning. Architecture education is often intense and demanding, and students frequently find themselves questioning their preparedness for the professional field. This session is designed to address those very concerns by providing honest insights and relatable experiences.
Ar. Radhika Agarwal, having recently transitioned into her professional career, brings fresh and relevant perspectives that resonate strongly with current students. Through her interaction, she will reflect upon her experiences during college, including late-night submissions, jury pressures, and the challenges of managing time and expectations. More importantly, she will highlight how these experiences shape one’s approach to real-world architectural practice.
The session will also focus on practical guidance, including career pathways, skill development, workplace realities, and the importance of making informed decisions early on. Students will have the opportunity to engage directly, ask questions, and gain clarity on doubts related to internships, job opportunities, and professional growth.
Such alumni interactions play a significant role in motivating students, as they get to learn from someone who has recently been in their position. It helps them understand that the transition from campus to career, though challenging, is achievable with the right mindset and preparation.
The institute encourages all students to attend the session with curiosity and openness, making the most of this opportunity to learn beyond textbooks and studios. Events like these not only inspire but also empower students to navigate their future with confidence and clarity.
The session promises to be an enriching experience, leaving students informed, motivated, and better prepared for the journey ahead in the field of architecture.
