Civil Engineering Students Participated in Creative Calligraphy Workshop
A creative Calligraphy Workshop is organized today at Axis Colleges in which the Civil Engineering Students of AITM showed active participation. This workshop was organised by the Axis Institute of Architecture. The workshop was conducted under the able guidance of Director Dr. Rishi Raj Kapoor and coordinated by Mr. Mohan Vishwakarma.

The Day-1 of this two-day workshop was conducted by Mr. Satyam Vishwakarma, a gold medalist from Banaras Hindu University (BHU). He introduced students to the basics of calligraphy and gradually covered Devanagari lettering, typography, and creative composition. His way of explaining was simple, practical, and very engaging, which kept students interested throughout the day.
More than 20 students from the Civil Engineering department participated in this workshop, and their excitement was clearly visible from the beginning. They were genuinely curious and eager to learn something different from their regular subjects. During the sessions, students actively practiced various lettering styles, tried writing new words, and created their own designs.
What made the workshop day-1 special was the energy of the students. They were fully involved, asking questions, trying again and again, and enjoying the whole process of learning. It was not just a workshop, but an experience where they explored their creative side.
For civil engineering students, such skills are quite useful in making neat drawings, writing clearly on plans, and presenting projects in a more professional and attractive way.
Overall, the workshop turned out to be a refreshing and valuable learning experience for all.
