Axis Institute of Higher Education (AIHE), Kanpur, marked the beginning of the academic session 2026–2027 for its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme with a vibrant and inspiring Orientation Programme, warmly welcoming the newly admitted students into the AIHE family.
The event was graced by Mr. Sandeep Joshi, Region Head – HR, Academic Alliances, TCS Lucknow, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the students, he shared valuable insights on industry expectations, digital transformation, career opportunities, and the skills required to excel in today’s competitive corporate environment.
The orientation programme introduced students to the wide range of academic and career development opportunities available at AIHE. The orientation programme provided students with a comprehensive overview of the academic and professional opportunities available at AIHE.
Sessions were conducted on NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning), NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets), and Microsoft Certification Programmes, highlighting the importance of globally recognized certifications in enhancing knowledge, technical proficiency, and employability.
Students were also introduced to placement and career development initiatives, personality enhancement programmes, industry interactions, internships, experiential learning opportunities, and skill development activities that complement classroom education.
A special interactive Ice-Breaking Session was organized to help students interact with their peers, overcome initial inhibitions, build confidence, and develop a sense of belonging within the AIHE community.
The programme also included informative sessions on the institution’s code of conduct, academic regulations, ERP system, library resources, student support services, and campus facilities, enabling students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the academic environment and institutional processes.
The Orientation Programme was successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr Ashish Malik, Director Axis colleges and Dr. Vipul Mishra, Head of the Department, whose leadership ensured the smooth execution of the event.
The programme concluded on an inspiring note, reaffirming AIHE’s commitment to nurturing future-ready professionals through academic excellence, ethical values, innovation, industry-oriented learning, and holistic personality development, thereby preparing students to excel as responsible business leaders in an increasingly competitive global environment.
