AutoCAD Training Program

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Axis Institute of Technology & Management , successfully organized an AutoCAD Training Program for second-year B.Tech Mechanical Engineering students . The training was conducted with the objective of providing practical exposure to Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technology and enhancing students’ technical skills in line with current industrial requirements.

During the training, students received hands-on experience in AutoCAD software, basic drawing commands, geometric construction, editing tools, layers, dimensioning, annotation, and preparation of engineering drawings. The programme included theoretical sessions and practical demonstrations, enabling students to understand the fundamentals of CAD and its applications in mechanical engineering.

Congratulating the participants, Shri Raj Kushwaha, Chairman of Axis Colleges , appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of practical skill development and industry-oriented training in preparing competent engineers. Prof. Dr. Ashish Malik, Director, Axis Colleges , highlighted that such training programmes enhance students’ technical knowledge, confidence, creativity, and employability while bridging the gap between classroom learning and industrial expectations.

Mr. Arun Kumar Dwivedi, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering , congratulated the students for their enthusiastic participation and appreciated the efforts of the trainer. He stated that the department remains committed to organizing industry-oriented programmes that equip students with advanced technical and practical skills.

The training was conducted by Ms. Akshita Srivastava Assistant professor Mechanical engineering Department, who provided practical demonstrations and guided students through various AutoCAD tools and exercises.

The management, faculty members, and students congratulate all participants on the successful completion of the training and wish them continued success in their academic and professional careers.
