Axis Institute of Pharmacy Organizes Educational Visit at National Sugar Institute, Kanpur.

In its continuous pursuit of academic excellence and experiential learning, Axis Institute of Pharmacy, in collaboration with the Departments of Biotechnology and Medical Microbiology, organized an insightful educational trip to the prestigious National Sugar Institute (NSI), Kanpur.

The primary objective of this visit was to enhance the research skills of budding scientists and ignite a sense of curiosity and innovation among students. It provided them with a unique opportunity to step beyond classroom boundaries and gain firsthand exposure to advanced industrial processes and laboratory practices related to sugar science and fermentation technology.

During the visit, students explored core areas such as sugar chemistry, sugar technology, and sugar engineering laboratories. They gained practical insights into the methods of sugar production, quality analysis, and purification techniques. A special focus was also given to understanding the fermentation process in breweries, enabling students to grasp real-world applications of microbiology and biotechnology in the production of alcoholic beverages and industrial ethanol.

The interactive sessions with NSI experts proved highly beneficial, offering a deeper understanding of industry expectations, current research trends, and potential career opportunities in the sugar and fermentation industries.
