Visit to the Indian Railways

Visit to the Indian Railways The Axis Colleges have organized an industrial visit to Indian Railways at the Sirsaul Railway Station for students who are majoring in civil engineering.

Axis Colleges recently conducted an educational Industrial Visit to the Indian Railways at Sirsaul Railway Station for its students who are majoring in Civil Engineering. The purpose of this visit was to give the students the opportunity to gain practical experience with one of the most important pillars of India’s infrastructure system.

Students had the wonderful opportunity to watch and gain an understanding of the intricate operations, planning, and structural design features that are involved in the building and maintenance of railways in the course of the visit. The students were accompanied by knowledgeable members of the teaching staff as they investigated various aspects of the train station, such as the track layout, signaling systems, platform design, drainage, and structural safety mechanisms.

The students were taken through the entire visit by officials from Indian Railways, who provided them with in-depth information regarding railway engineering, the materials that are utilized in track construction, soil stability, and the significance of precision in structural alignment and load management. Students were able to better connect the theoretical principles they had studied in the classroom with their implementations in the real world thanks to the contact with engineers who were present on-site.

Not only did the students’ grasp of transportation and structural engineering improve as a result of this hands-on experience, but they also gained a deeper appreciation for the magnitude, discipline, and technical excellence that are involved in railway operations.

Axis Colleges is dedicated to providing students with learning experiences that are integrated with the industry, with the goal of enabling them to develop into skilled professionals who are prepared to meet the demands of the infrastructure sector, which is constantly evolving. The industrial visit to Sirsaul Railway Station was an important step in bridging the gap between academics and industry, which in turn enriched the learning journey of students who are majoring in Civil Engineering.
