We are pleased to announce that Aman Bakshi, a hardworking B.Tech (Civil Engineering) student at Axis Institute of Technology & Management – Axis Colleges, has been placed with Quality Austria, a leading certification, training, and quality-assurance company. Aman’s technical expertise, leadership skills, and rigorous, industry-oriented education at Axis Colleges are evident in this extraordinary achievement.
Aman excelled in Structural Analysis, Concrete Technology, Transportation Engineering, and Geotechnical Engineering from his first semester. His lab projects on soil mechanics testing, concrete mix design, and surveying showed his passion for hands-on learning, which underpins Quality Austria’s focus on precision, standards compliance, and continual improvement.
Aman’s capstone project showed his ability to apply theory. Using hydraulic modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and environmental impact assessment, he led a team to construct a sustainable campus rainwater collection system. This end-to-end methodology reflected Quality Austria’s overall quality-management philosophy.
Axis Colleges’ Civil Engineering curriculum balances theory and practice. BIM, Advanced Steel Design, and Green Building Technologies electives supplement Hydraulics, Construction Management, Structural Dynamics, and Environmental Engineering courses. Aman took workshops on AutoCAD Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, and ETABS to improve his skills with industry-standard tools.

Quality Austria allows Aman to apply his civil engineering skills to global certification and training initiatives. He will use his engineering expertise and interpersonal abilities to conduct technical audits, plan and execute quality-management system training, and help clients meet international standards in his new post.
