CSE/IT Students Gain Valuable Experience at HackOverflow 4.0, Navi MumbaiThe Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology proudly highlights the remarkable participation of its students in HackOverflow 4.0, which took place from 11th to 13th March 2026 at Pillai HOC College located in Rasayani Navi Mumbai.
The event brought together enthusiastic and talented students from various institutions who competed in an innovative platform that allowed them to demonstrate their technical skills and creative abilities.Two enthusiastic teams from the department joined the prestigious hackathon, showcasing their innovative spirit and teamwork.
The students from CSAIML 2nd year Mr. Harsh Mishra Ms. Somya Tiwari Mr. Yash Dubey Mr. Gopal Ji Dwivedi and Mr. Harsh Kumar showed outstanding dedication and enthusiasm during the entire event. Their participation showed their technical skills and their desire to develop new competencies through experience in a demanding setting.
HackOverflow 4.0 was created to test participants through three assessment methods which included coding efficiency assessment and problem-solving ability assessment and evaluation of teamwork performance during high-pressure situations. The students worked tirelessly, brainstorming ideas, developing solutions, and adapting to real-time challenges within tight deadlines.
The practical experience provided them with an opportunity to improve their programming abilities while developing their critical thinking skills and their capacity to create innovative solutions.Beyond the technical aspects, the event provided students with an educational opportunity which allowed them to leave the regular classroom environment while interacting with students from various cultural backgrounds.
The experience at HackOverflow 4.0 was more than just a competition; it was about learning, collaboration, and personal growth. The students gained confidence through their training which also helped them develop better communication and teamwork abilities while they learned how teamwork produces successful outcomes.
The Department feels immense pride in the participation and achievements of these students. The students show exceptional dedication which demonstrates the institution’s mission to promote innovative ideas and practical education and complete student development.
