As part of its ongoing effort to encourage innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking among its engineering students, Axis Colleges, along with the Institutions’ Innovation Council (IIC), put together a successful session called “IIC: Impact Lecture Series Session-1.”
The Impact Lecture Series is a national program run by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC). Its goal is to improve the environment for innovation in colleges and universities. At Axis Colleges’ first event, respected speakers, business experts, and innovation leaders shared their knowledge, experiences, and plans for creating an environment that encourages innovation and company growth in schools.
Many interested students and staff members from different areas of engineering came to the session. It focused on giving young people the knowledge and attitude they need to find problems in the real world, think creatively, and use technology and business to come up with solutions that can be used by many people. The speakers also talked about how important it is to work together across disciplines, how to solve problems, and how schools can help student-led businesses.
The lecture was meant to get students interested in and confident in taking the initiative to explore startup ideas and work on projects that involve innovation. It did this through interesting talks, lively discussions, and motivational success stories. During the session, it was also emphasized how important it is for IIC efforts to be in line with national goals like Atmanirbhar Bharat and Startup India.
A lot of good feedback was given about the event. Students especially liked how the session gave them useful information and motivation. Faculty members praised the initiative for making an environment that supports study, new ideas, and business within the academic framework.
Axis Colleges is proud to be a force for change by putting together sessions that have such an effect and go beyond the usual way of learning. The school is still committed to producing engineers who are ready for the future and have both the technical skills and the vision to lead and create.
This was the first of a series of talks put on by the IIC. More are planned in the coming months to keep the students interested and motivated.
Axis Colleges wants to thank the Institutions’ Innovation Council for its help and support. They look forward to many more chances to help shape the leaders and creators of the future.
