 Visit to the 400/220KV Substation Power Grid- AIPM Specifically for its Diploma Engineering students, Axis Colleges recently conducted an educational Industrial Exposure Visit to the 400/220KV Substation Power Grid in Kanpur. This visit was aimed to provide students with an opportunity to gain valuable insights. As a result of this visit, the students were afforded a priceless chance to get first-hand experience as well as practical information regarding the operation and functioning of high-voltage electrical substations.
During the course of the visit, students investigated the essential elements that make up the substation. These elements included transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, and protective relays. They paid attention to the manner in which power is properly transmitted and distributed through the grid, which guarantees that there is a continuous supply of electricity throughout all regions.
