Suroj Buildcon Pvt Ltd Organises Successful Pool Campus Drive at AITM For Civil Engineering Students.
Suroj Buildcon Pvt Ltd brought fresh energy and real opportunity to Axis Institute of Technology and Management today with a well-organized pool campus drive. Graduating B.Tech Civil Engineering students and Diploma holders from Axis and neighboring colleges turned up in good numbers, eager to kick-start their careers.
More than 60 students appeared for Round 1 — the written technical test — out of which 35 promising candidates advanced to the final Personal Interview (PI) round. The entire process was conducted with clarity and care by the college placement cell.
Placement Coordinator Ms. Kirandeep Kaur, HOD Civil Engineering Er. Md Shariq, Faculty Coordinator Mr. Sikander Kumar, and Mr. Amit Sabarwal were present throughout, ensuring every student felt supported.
During the Pre-Placement Talk, the Suroj team shared inspiring stories of their work, including India’s record-breaking continuous concrete pour of 9,000 cubic metres for the VCV Tower Pile Cap Raft at KEI Wires and Cables in Sanand, Gujarat. They also highlighted the 40-acre greenfield industrial project in Waluj, Maharashtra, executed with Balkrishna Tires, and the massive ongoing 108-acre logistics and warehousing campus for Embassy Industrial Parks in Farrukhnagar, Haryana — featuring 80,500 cubic metres of concrete and 2,70,000 sqm of flooring. With over 180 projects delivered across pharmaceutical, automobile, defense, warehousing and heritage restoration sectors, the company showcased its EPC and modular construction expertise.
Suroj Buildcon has been visiting Axis every year for the past five years, taking talented civil engineers and helping them grow on live projects. Before wrapping up, the team promised to return next year and advised pre-final students to stay focused on fundamentals and practical training.
