Final Year Civil Engineering Students Successfully Submitted Thesis Projects

The Department of Civil Engineering proudly celebrated an important academic achievement as the final year students successfully submitted and presented their thesis projects today in the presence of the external practical examiner appointed by AKTU. The presentations showcased the students’ technical knowledge, research capabilities, and innovative thinking developed during their academic journey.

The students worked on several research-oriented and socially beneficial projects. One of the major projects, “Sustainable Building Structure Using Industrial Waste, Recycle and Reuse of Construction Material, focused on promoting sustainable construction practices and effective utilization of industrial waste materials for eco-friendly infrastructure development.

Another impressive project, “To Study the Effect of M25 Concrete by Partial Replacement of Sand with Glass Powder and Cement by Fly Ash,” highlighted the use of alternative construction materials to improve concrete performance while reducing environmental impact. The project emphasized sustainable and cost-effective solutions in modern civil engineering practices.

The third project, “Assessment of Groundwater Quality using Physico-Chemical Parameters: A Comprehensive Review,” focused on analyzing groundwater quality and the importance of maintaining safe and sustainable water resources for public health and environmental protection.

During the thesis preparation and research work, the students gained practical exposure and learned various technical, analytical, and presentation skills. The project work helped them understand real-world engineering challenges, teamwork, research methodology, and innovative problem-solving approaches.

The projects were presented before the external practical examiner sent by AKTU, who appreciated the efforts, research quality, and presentation skills of the students.

Head of the Department, Er. Md. Shariq, stated that such innovative and research-based projects help students strengthen their practical understanding and prepare them for future professional challenges in the field of civil engineering.

Director Prof. Dr. Ashish Malik congratulated all final year students for their dedication and sincere efforts and motivated them to continue achieving excellence in their future careers.

Chairman Mr. Raj Kushwaha extended his heartfelt best wishes to all final year students for a bright and successful future and expressed confidence that they would make the institution proud through their achievements and professionalism.
