🚀 Startup Spark Workshop Organized for Civil Engineering Final Year Students at Axis Colleges

The Department of Civil Engineering at Axis Colleges successfully organized a two-day “Startup Spark Workshop” for final year students with the objective of promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup culture among budding engineers.

The workshop aimed to develop entrepreneurial thinking, problem-solving abilities, business awareness, and confidence among students while preparing them for future startup ventures and professional opportunities.

The workshop was conducted by renowned Startup Coach and Mentor Mr. Jayendra Pratap Singh, who shared valuable knowledge and practical insights related to entrepreneurship, startup development, innovation, business planning, product development, and incubation opportunities.

Through interactive sessions and discussions, students gained an understanding of various entrepreneurial activities including startup internships, incubation center programs, Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) initiatives, business model preparation, startup conclaves, and hackathons.

Mr. Singh encouraged students to think beyond traditional career paths and motivated them to become innovators and future entrepreneurs.

He explained how engineering students can transform creative ideas into successful business opportunities and contribute towards employment generation and societal development.

The workshop was conducted under the guidance of Head of Department, Md. Shariq, whose presence and motivation greatly inspired the students throughout the program.

He highlighted the growing importance of entrepreneurship in the field of engineering and emphasized that such workshops help students build leadership qualities, communication skills, creativity, and practical exposure. He further motivated students to actively participate in innovation-driven activities to strengthen their future careers.

Director Prof. Dr. Ashish Malik also addressed the students and highlighted the significance of startup-oriented learning in today’s competitive world. He appreciated the initiative taken by the Civil Engineering Department and stated that workshops like “Startup Spark” provide students with valuable industry exposure and real-world understanding beyond classroom learning. He encouraged students to make the best use of such opportunities to enhance their professional skills and entrepreneurial mindset.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from final year civil engineering students, who actively engaged in discussions, learning activities, and idea-sharing sessions during the two-day event. Students expressed that the workshop provided them with practical understanding, motivation, and confidence to explore startup opportunities and innovative ideas in the future.

At the conclusion of the workshop, certificates were distributed to all participating students in recognition of their active involvement and successful completion of the program. The event ended on a positive and inspiring note, leaving students motivated towards innovation, entrepreneurship, and future startup ventures.
