Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships
Supporting up to 5,000 meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds to pursue regular undergraduate education without financial constraints.
- Additional Benefits: Access to a vibrant alumni network and long-term mentorship support.
- Grant Amount: Up to Rs 2 Lakhs across the full duration of the degree programme.
- Cohort Size: Up to 5,000 scholars per year.
- Field of Study: Any undergraduate stream or subject.
Eligibility Criteria
- Resident Indian citizen.
- Enrolled in the 1st year (Academic Year 2026–27) of a full-time, regular undergraduate degree.
- Minimum 60% marks in Standard 12th.
- Annual household income below Rs 15 Lakhs (preference given to incomes below Rs 2.5 Lakhs).
- Mandatory completion of the online Aptitude Test.
- Applications from girls and specially-abled students are strongly encouraged.
Who is Not Eligible?
- Students in their 2nd year or higher (enrolled in AY 2025–26 or earlier).
- Students enrolled in online, hybrid, distance, or non-regular courses.
- Students with a post-10th diploma instead of Standard 12th.
- Students enrolled in 2-year or 6-year degree programmes.
UG Scholarship Application Procedure
- Step 1: Online Application
- Complete personal, contact, and academic details.
- Submit achievements, awards, and required supporting documents.
- Step 2: Mandatory Online Aptitude Test
- Duration: 60 minutes.
- Format: 60 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Syllabus: Verbal ability, analytical & logical reasoning, and numerical ability.
- Step 3: Evaluation & Final Selection
- Initial screening evaluates test scores alongside academic records and personal profile.
- Final cohort of up to 5,000 scholars is selected on a merit-cum-means basis.
Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships
Designed to nurture top-tier innovators, researchers, and changemakers in future-ready STEM fields who will drive national development toward Viksit Bharat.
- Grant Amount: Up to Rs. 6 Lakhs total.
- 80% disbursed at the start of each academic year for tuition and direct academic expenses.
- 20% disbursed on request for professional development, research, and conference participation.
- Cohort Size: Up to 100 scholars per year.
- Eligible Disciplines: First-year PG programmes in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics & Computing, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Renewable & New Energy, Material Science & Engineering, and Life Sciences.
- Holistic Development: Industry interactions, global expert workshops, mentorship, internships, volunteering opportunities, and alumni networking.
Eligibility Criteria
- Resident Indian citizen.
- Enrolled in the 1st year of an eligible full-time postgraduate degree.
- Must meet either of the following academic criteria:
- GATE score between 550 and 1,000, OR
- Undergraduate CGPA of 7.5 or above (or equivalent normalized percentage).
- Mandatory completion of the online Aptitude Test.

- Students in their 2nd year of postgraduate studies.
- Students pursuing distance, part-time, hybrid, or online programmes.
- Pure Mathematics students applying under Mathematics & Computing.
