Axis Colleges Pharmakon Society Marks National First Aid Day with a Heartfelt Outreach

On this National First Aid Day, the Pharmakon Society of Axis Colleges proudly took a significant step toward community well-being by launching an impactful awareness campaign in the villages of Kanpur and Unnao. Our enthusiastic pharmacy students embraced the opportunity to extend their knowledge and compassion beyond the campus, focusing on spreading essential first aid awareness among rural families.

Equipped with enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility, the students visited these communities with open hearts and open minds. They engaged with villagers, educating them about the importance of first aid and basic emergency response techniques. Their goal was not only to impart knowledge but also to empower individuals to act confidently during medical emergencies, potentially saving lives before professional help arrives.

As a vital part of this outreach, the students distributed a total of 450 First Aid Kits to families across the visited villages. Each kit was thoughtfully prepared to include essential supplies for treating minor injuries and emergencies, emphasizing the importance of immediate care in everyday situations. This distribution was a tangible expression of the college’s commitment to community health and safety.

The initiative reflects Axis Colleges’ ongoing dedication to fostering socially responsible healthcare professionals who understand the importance of serving society with both expertise and empathy. The students’ efforts have left a positive and lasting impact on the communities, bridging gaps in healthcare awareness and preparedness.

We wholeheartedly applaud the Pharmakon Society students for their dedication and selfless service. Their compassionate outreach on National First Aid Day exemplifies the spirit of care and responsibility that Axis Colleges strives to instill in all its scholars, inspiring us all to make a difference.
