B.Tech - Bachelor of Technology

Eligibility Criteria

  • Passed 10+2 examination, which includes Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry / Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies.
  • Attained a score of at least 45% in the subjects mentioned above combined & candidates who belong to reserved categories must score 40% marks.
    OR
  • Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks, candidates who belong to reserved categories must score 40% marks, subject to availability of vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies for lateral entry are exhausted.

Mechanical Engineering (ME)

Mechanical engineering is a subfield of engineering that utilizes the concepts of physics, chemistry, and mathematics to analyze, design, fabricate, and maintain mechanical systems. Mechanical engineers utilize the principles of motion, energy, and force to evaluate their work and ensure that designs operate safely, efficiently, and reliably at a competitive price. 

This is one of the oldest and most extensive engineering disciplines. Every product or service in modern life has been impacted by a mechanical engineer in some way to help mankind. This encompasses resolving ongoing issues and generating future solutions in the fields of health care, energy, transportation, climate change, and more. 

We at Axis, focused on teaching learning towards the development of applied creativity along with strong networking, leadership, and conflict management skills. Our graduating students have achieved great heights in various domains of Mechanical Engineering after starting their journey as Maintenance Engineer, Quality Assurance, R&D Trainee, CNC Programmer, Design Engineer, CAD/CAM Trainer, Production Supervisor/Engineer, and Jr. Engineer etc.

Our college is equipped with an industry-sponsored Computerized Manufacturing System and Automobile Engineering lab that allows students to experience a real-life industry environment. Students made various projects like Solar cars, Electric Solar vehicles, etc., and also won many prizes on various platforms. 

In addition to this, the Institution of Engineers India, Solar Energy Society of India & Indian Green Building Council student chapters’ activities help in the all-round development of our mechanical engineers.

Electrical Engineering (EE)

Electrical engineering has become more complex and has developed out into various specialized areas, such as power generation and transmission systems, motors, batteries, and control systems.

Electrical engineers are the ones who design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacture of electrical equipment, including electric motors, radar and navigation systems, communication systems, and power generation equipment.

Our students at Axis Colleges are trained to design electrical devices and systems using basic components like conductors, coils, magnets, batteries, switches, resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, and transistors, using the techniques of today’s electrical engineers.

Axis Electrical Engineers are increasingly relying on computer-aided design (CAD) systems to create schematics and lay out circuits.

In addition, computers are used to simulate the functionality of electrical devices and systems.
Computer simulations have the ability to model both a national power grid and a microprocessor.
To speed up the process of drafting schematics, printed circuit board (PCB) layouts, and blueprints for electrical and electronic devices, CAD systems allow for quick and easy modifications of designs and rapid prototyping using CNC machines. 

Students have developed a variety of projects/products, including IOT-based automatic solar irrigation systems, solar-powered treadmill scooters, solar bicycles, drones, and smart dustbins for which they have been awarded prizes on different platforms. 

And to add a glimpse to our Electrical Engineering program, ‘the Institution of Engineers India, Solar Energy Society of India & Indian Green Building Council student chapters’ activities helps in the all-round development of our electrical engineers.

Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

Electronics and Communication Engineering deals with electronic devices, circuits, and communication equipment like transmitters, receivers, and integrated circuits (IC).

Axis Colleges includes the Department of Electronics and Communication among its founding constituents. From its very inception, this department has established itself as an efficient, self-reliant, and quality-conscious entity with the sole aim of producing the most energetic, enthusiastic, and professionally competent Electronic Engineers with the ability to take up the challenges posed to them. This dream can only be fulfilled through the leadership of a group of well-qualified, conscientious, and dedicated faculty and technical staff in the department. 

We have an industry-sponsored Texas Instrumentation lab which gives students a real environment of industry in the college. The students are given hand on training on Texas kits for Designing Experiments. Students under the curriculum worked on various projects, such as solar bicycles, drones, smart dustbins, and other items, and won many prizes on various platforms. In addition, the Institution of Engineers India, Solar Energy Society of India & Indian Green Building Council student chapters’ activities help in the all-round development of our electronics & communication engineers.

Electronics and Communication Engineering is a promising field with promising growth prospects, and individuals with sufficient knowledge and skills in the field can be qualified for a variety of entry-level positions. Electronics Engineers can find employment in many industries once they complete their degrees. Indian Telephone Industries, Civil Aviation, Development Centers in various States, Defense, A.I.R, Railways, Bharat Electronics Limited, D.R.D.O, Telecommunication, Software Engineering/IT, Power sector, Hardware Manufacturing, Home Appliance and VLSI design, Television Industry and Research & Development etc. are some of the popular sectors where the services of an Electronics and Communication engineer are required.

Information Technology (IT)

Information Technology is a vital technology for processing information. Particularly, employing electronic computers and computer software to transform, store, safeguard, process, transmit, and retrieve data from any place at any time.

Since its beginning, the Department of IT has experienced significant progress in academics, higher education, research, and innovation. The department has experienced significant growth in academics, higher education, research, and innovation since its inception. The Department of Information Technology is dedicated to providing high-quality undergraduate education to students with the objective of preparing them for prolific careers. 

The department is committed to providing academic excellence in the field of education while focusing on the overall development of an individual. Axis is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure that is modern and state-of-the-art. The department has e-classrooms, and well-equipped laboratories furnished with the latest and modern pieces of equipment along with updated software to provide hands-on training and practical exposure to students. 

A group of experienced teachers from both educational and industrial backgrounds are instrumental in the department’s strong support. There are a good number of Ph.D., .NET, and GATE qualifiers thereby ensuring a teaching methodology rich with logical & practical approaches. The students admitted to the course are beginners but the balanced blend of technical skills, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, and job job-oriented training program makes them perfect professionals.

We have an industry-sponsored Center of Excellence in Oracle and Palo Alto which gives students real exposure to industry standards and helps them in their preparation for industry readiness. The competitiveness of students is boosted by these practices and has resulted in great placement outcomes.

Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)

Computer Science and Engineering encompass a wide array of topics that relate to computation, such as algorithm analysis, programming languages, program design, software, and computer hardware. Computer Science and engineering have their origins in electrical engineering, mathematics, and linguistics.

In 2010, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Axis was established and initially took in 60 students. The department has experienced significant growth in academics, higher education, research, and innovation since its inception. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is dedicated to providing high-quality undergraduate education to students with the objective of preparing them for prolific careers. The department is committed to providing academic excellence in the field of education while focusing on the overall development of an individual. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

Artificial Intelligence involves all the things that enable us to make our computers perform the same tasks as humans. The purpose is to mimic natural intelligence to solve complex real-world challenges. The act of a machine learning without any explicit programming is called machine learning. 

It is an application of AI that provides the system the ability to automatically learn and advance from experience. As per the Gartner prediction, by 2020, customers will manage 85% of their relationship with the enterprise without interacting with a human.

Axis Colleges offers a B. Tech CSE program that focuses on Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, covering topics such as Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Data Engineering, and Data Science. 

The government has a plan to introduce AI in 10 sectors of India, including Agriculture, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Education, and Public Utilities. Therefore, the students can anticipate a wide variety of career opportunities after completing our B. Tech Course in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.

Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Data Science

B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Data Science (DS) is a new, exponentially growing field that consists of a set of tools and techniques used to extract useful information from data. The program is centered on data science, which is an interdisciplinary subject that teaches how to apply scientific techniques to practical problems. Complex problems are solved analytically through a blend of data inference, algorithm development, and technology in the course curriculum. 

The primary focus of this program is to utilize enormous data in innovative ways to generate business value.
