Corset-Making Workshop

Axis Colleges has organized a Corset-Making Workshop for fashion students, led by our Assistant Professor Mr. Satyam Bharti.
This workshop guides students in understanding how measurements correspond to both the body and the pattern, and in transferring these measurements onto paper to fashion exquisite shape-altering garments. An initial Eight-Panel Corset pattern was crafted, followed by students drafting the pattern and creating a calico mockup to assess its fit. After refining adjustments, students incorporated changes into the master pattern and proceeded to craft their unique bespoke corsets, employing quality corsetry materials and elegant fashion fabrics.
