CSE/IT Department Hosts Code Catalyst Coding Contest Successfully

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology (CSE/IT) successfully organized Code Catalyst, a competitive coding contest conducted in association with GeeksforGeeks. The event was specifically designed for first- and second-year students with the objective of nurturing emerging programming talent and strengthening their foundation in problem-solving and analytical thinking.

The contest received an overwhelming response because more than 400 students from various sections participated. The participants showed their increasing interest in coding and emerging technologies through their enthusiastic and curious and determined behavior. The event provided an organized framework which allowed developing programmers to assess their capabilities and enhance their programming abilities while experiencing an actual programming competition.

The study required participants to solve different problems which needed them to use their logical reasoning skills and their ability to think through algorithms and their time management skills. The competition required students to use their critical thinking skills while they transformed their theoretical knowledge into real-world solutions and created efficient programs under limited time conditions.

The programs serve a crucial function because they connect academic education with skills that industries demand while helping students become ready for upcoming technological difficulties.
The department extends its congratulations to Raman Katiyar, Naman Katiyar, and Ram Pathak for their excellent performance and notable coding proficiency. Their achievement shows the three of them worked hard while maintaining their dedication to technical skills.

The Department of CSE/IT extends its sincere appreciation for the continued support and encouragement provided by Dr. Ashish Malik, Director, and Dr. Shubha Jain, Head of the Department (CSE). The team achieved successful event execution because of his guidance which enabled them to complete all planning activities.

The department expresses its sincere appreciation to all participants for their active involvement and valuable contributions toward the successful execution of Code Catalyst. The organization will continue its mission to create similar educational programs while it encourages students to develop their technological skills through innovative practices and their quest for excellence.
