On the occasion of Engineer’s Day, Axis Colleges proudly celebrated the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Shri Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya with a series of dynamic events that highlighted the creativity and talent of Civil and Mechanical Engineering students.
These events provided a fantastic platform for students to showcase their innovation, technical expertise, and sportsmanship, with enthusiastic participation from all years and departments.
In Bridge-o-mania, students impressed everyone with their innovative bridge designs.
Congratulations to the winners, Mr. Nikhil and Mr. Rohit (2nd-year Civil Engineering), and the runners-up, Mr. Sobhan Hussain and Mr. Anubhav Verma (final-year Civil Engineering).
The Junkyard competition saw teams transform scrap materials into functional models.
The winning Make-in-India model was created by Mr. Pawan Sharma, Ms. Khushi Rajpoot, and Mr. Tushar Trivedi (final-year Mechanical Engineering), while the Water Lamp model earned runners-up praise for Mr. Abhinav Singh, Mr. Sachin, and Mr. Aditya Shukla (2nd-year Mechanical Engineering).
In the Badminton Tournament, the winners were:
Women’s Singles: Ms. Bushra Hashme (3rd-year Civil Engineering)
Men’s Singles: Mr. Nihal (2nd-year Civil Engineering)
Men’s Doubles: Mr. Deepak Pal & Mr. Vikas Patel (3rd-year Mechanical Engineering)
