Axis Institute of Higher Education (AIHE), under the umbrella of Axis Colleges, in collaboration with NSS, organized a creative and awareness-oriented Poster Making Activity on the theme “Nasha Mukt Bharat”. The activity was aimed at sensitizing students about the harmful effects of drug and substance abuse and encouraging them to contribute towards creating a healthier, safer and drug-free society.
The activity provided students with an opportunity to express their thoughts and perspectives through creative posters and meaningful presentations. Through impactful messages, illustrations and innovative ideas, students highlighted the physical, mental, social and academic consequences associated with substance abuse. The initiative emphasized the importance of making responsible choices and motivating young people to stay away from drugs and adopt a healthy and positive lifestyle.
The activity also focused on the development of essential managerial and professional skills among students. Participation in the activity helped enhance creative thinking, communication skills, presentation skills, teamwork, leadership, planning, problem-solving, decision-making and social responsibility. Students learned to transform their ideas into effective visual messages, work collaboratively, manage their tasks and confidently present their viewpoints before an audience.
The initiative successfully combined social awareness with experiential learning, enabling students to understand how communication and creativity can be effectively used to address important social issues. It also encouraged students to recognize their responsibility as future professionals and managers in contributing positively to society.
The activity concluded with a strong message that a drug-free youth is the foundation of a healthy, progressive and developed nation. Through such initiatives, AIHE continues to encourage students to become socially responsible, confident and active contributors to the vision of a Nasha Mukt Bharat and Viksit Bharat.
