Axis Colleges celebrated Vishwakarma Jayanti with great enthusiasm, performing Vishwakarma Puja in honor of Lord Vishwakarma, the divine craftsman, architect, and engineer of the Gods, and the creator of the universe’s tools and machines.
The ceremony was held in the college workshop, which was beautifully decorated with flowers. Faculty, students, and staff gathered to pay tribute to Lord Vishwakarma as a priest led traditional prayers, seeking blessings for prosperity and success.
Tools and machinery were ceremonially offered during the puja, symbolizing respect for craftsmanship and technical expertise, both essential to academic and professional growth.
The event emphasized the values of creativity, dedication, and hard work. After the rituals, prasadam was distributed, followed by a discussion on the relevance of Vishwakarma Puja in modern engineering.
