The Axis Colleges Department of Employability Training is even more dedicated than ever to giving students real-life experience and hands-on learning opportunities. As part of this project, a group of eager mechanical engineering students recently went on a visit to one of Berger Paints India Ltd.’s well-known business units.

This visit was carefully planned to bridge the gap between what students have learned in the classroom and what they can do in the real world. Students were able to see directly how complicated industrial processes, modern engineering methods, and workplace dynamics work. One of India’s best paint companies, Berger Paints, let us see how they make their products and how they use modern machinery and quality control to make sure that every product they make is perfect.

The students were greeted warmly by top executives and technical experts from Berger Paints. They were then given a thorough tour of the company’s history, current market position, and technological advances. They learned a lot about the complicated steps that go into making paints, like how to mix the ingredients, how to use machines, how to package the paint, and how to make sure that safety and environmental rules are followed. Berger Paints experts also talk about new ways to be environmentally friendly, highlighting the shift in the industry toward making products that are better for the environment.

The Q&A workshop with industry experts was one of the best parts of the visit. Students asked questions and got answers about how engineering can be used in real life. These talks not only helped them understand things better, but they also gave them chances to meet new people and find jobs. The students saw how mechanical engineering principles were seamlessly integrated into the production and repair processes. This was a great way to reinforce what they had learned in the classroom.

At the end of the visit, the students thanked the industry for giving them such important experience that will definitely help them in their academic and professional lives. Axis Colleges’ goal has always been to give students the information and skills they need to do well in fields that are very competitive. The institution continues to train future engineers by giving them the chance to learn about new ideas, see how businesses work, and think about what kind of job they want to have.

By encouraging strong partnerships between businesses and universities, Axis Colleges make sure that their students stay ahead of the curve and are ready to face difficulties in the real world with confidence and skill. The trip to Berger Paints India Ltd. shows that the college is serious about providing a complete education, where students learn not only in the classroom but also in the fast-paced world of business and technology.  —
