Axis Institute of Fashion Technology organized “TUKACad EliteCode Program” an Value-Added Certification program for the students of Fashion & Textile Design in collaboration with TUKATECH PVT. LTD under the expert guidance of Mr. Mohd. Aasif , TukaCad Specialist, TukaTech Pvt. Ltd, Gurugram, at Axis Colleges Campus, Kanpur from January 27th 2026 to January 31st 2026.
This was an industry-oriented program focused on Tukadesign, Tukamark and tukatailor Edition (MTM). Overview of the software interface, basic setup, and workflow. Introduction to key features used in digital pattern making.
Students learned digital pattern drafting, grading for multiple sizes and generating markers for fabric cutting. Students also got step by step guidance via expert of how to create the basic patterns of T-Shirts, shirts, sleeves variations and women’s dress pattens.
Creating a measurement chart report & Generating pattern card reports. Hands-on practice session where participants create a complete T-shirt pattern independently using the learned tools.
Develop a women’s dress pattern using APM (Automatic Pattern Making) tools for accurate and efficient pattern creationThe learning outcome were gaining proficiency in TUKACAD (pattern making and grading) and TUKA3D (3D virtual sampling), which are widely used by top fashion brands and apparel manufacturers globally.

Sustainability & Waste Reduction by avoiding traditional method of patten making on paper, Workshops emphasize efficient marker-making techniques that reduce fabric wastage, preparing students to adopt sustainable practices in their future careers.
