Gandhigiri 2023- AITM Axis Colleges organized an exciting event, GandhiGiri’23, focusing on the Future of Technology, with particular emphasis on Robotics, IoT, and Drone technology for its engineering students.
More than 50 teams actively participated, transforming the Project Contest into a thriving hub of creativity and innovation.
The top three prizes were as follows:
The first prize went to the “Talking Robot” project, led by Mr. Ramji Tiwari, a B.Tech. CSE pre-final year student, and his team, in recognition of their extraordinary creation.
The second prize was awarded to the “Transformer Online/Offline Health Monitoring System,” a remarkable display of innovation created by Mr. Raj Soni, a B.Tech. EE pre-final year student.
The third prize was claimed by Ms. Ruba Siddiqui, a B.Tech. CSE pre-final year student, and her team for their “Anti Sleeping Alarm to detect drowsiness” project.
Exceptional teams that showcased their talents and creativity during the event received Consolation Prizes.
This event not only highlighted the incredible potential and brilliance of our engineering students but also served as a testament to their innovative spirit.
Axis Colleges congratulates all the students who embarked on this remarkable journey of innovation, celebrating their dedication and creative prowess.
A celebration of innovation powered by technology, GandhiGiri’23 is being organized by Axis Colleges in collaboration with the CSE Department.
A recent event that was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and was dubbed GandhiGiri’23 was held at Axis Colleges. This event was both thrilling and focused on the future. Robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), and Drone Technology were some of the cutting-edge fields that were highlighted during the event, which placed a major emphasis on the future of technology. It has been carefully selected with the intention of motivating and involving engineering students in the continuously changing technological scene.
GandhiGiri’23 provided students with an exciting opportunity to investigate the ways in which emerging technologies are transforming several businesses as well as other aspects of everyday life. The event was packed with interactive experiences that spanned the gap between theory and practical application. These experiences included live demonstrations of autonomous robotic systems and smart Internet of Things solutions, as well as activities such as programming drones and controlling flights.
Students from the Computer Science and Engineering department displayed their technologically advanced ideas and prototypes with great enthusiasm, showcasing their creative abilities, problem-solving skills, and technical expertise. Deeper insights into the ways in which robotics, the internet of things, and drones are contributing to fields such as smart cities, healthcare, military, agriculture, and numerous other fields were presented through expert-led sessions and workshops.
A careful consideration was given to the selection of the event’s topic, which was GandhiGiri, with the intention of combining the Gandhian principles of simplicity, sustainability, and service with contemporary technology innovation. Students were encouraged to develop cutting-edge technological solutions that are not only technologically advanced but also ethically sound and have a significant impact on society.
Through the organization of GandhiGiri’23, the Computer Science and Engineering Department of Axis Colleges reinforced its dedication to provide students with a solid foundation in innovation, digital intelligence, and responsible technology use in order to better prepare them for the year to come. Participants were left feeling encouraged to go beyond the present and become imaginative contributors to the world of tomorrow, which will be driven by various forms of technology.Â
