AutoCAD Training
Axis Institute of Technology – Department of Mechanical Engineering
The Department of Mechanical Engineering successfully organized an AutoCAD Training Program for B.Tech 2nd Year students from 1st April to 9th April as part of its continuous effort to enhance students’ technical and practical skills.

The primary objective of the training was to provide students with hands-on experience in computer-aided design, an essential tool widely used in modern engineering practices. The program was conducted under the expert guidance of Mr. Ankit Singh and Mr. Kuldip Kumar , who effectively combined their industry knowledge with teaching expertise.

During the initial phase of the program, students were introduced to the fundamentals of AutoCAD, including 2D drafting, basic commands, dimensioning, and drawing techniques. As the training progressed, students explored advanced features and gained exposure to real-world applications of the software.
The sessions were highly interactive and practice-oriented, enabling students to apply concepts in real-time and resolve their doubts effectively. The trainers emphasized precision, creativity, and efficiency in design, helping students understand industry standards and expectations.

Students actively participated throughout the program and demonstrated great enthusiasm in acquiring new skills. The training significantly enhanced their technical proficiency and boosted their confidence in using design software for both academic and professional purposes.
The successful execution of the program was carried out under the guidance of Director Dr. Ashish Malik and Head of Department Arun Kumar Dwivedi , whose constant support and encouragement played a crucial role.

Overall, the AutoCAD Training Program proved to be a valuable learning experience for the students. Such initiatives are instrumental in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, thereby preparing students for future career opportunities in the field of mechanical engineering
