Samvad: Battle of Words

Sanganak Shila Society of Axis Colleges is excited to host ‘Samvad: Battle of Words’, an intellectually stimulating event tailored for its engineering students. The theme revolves around the profound “Impact of Digitalization on the Indian Economy”.

Students were invited to embark on a captivating literary excursion, participating in thought-provoking discussions and inspiring sessions. This event served as a dynamic platform for intellectual exploration, fostering connections between students and their socio-economic vision through meaningful conversations and networking with like-minded individuals.

Heartfelt congratulations to the winners: Mr. Swapnil Kumar speaking For the motion and Mr. Ashutosh Shukla speaking against the motion. Their insightful contributions added significant value to the discourse on the transformative impact of digitalization on the Indian economy.

The Sanganak Shila Society, which is the official student group for the Computer Science and Information Technology (CS/IT) Department at Axis Colleges, is very excited to hold its main event, “Samvad: Battle of Words.” This event was made just for engineering students at Axis Colleges to help them improve their speaking skills and start intellectual conversations.

In today’s world, where things change quickly, being able to speak clearly is just as important as being technically skilled. The goal of Samvad is to close that gap by giving students a place to say what they think, argue about current events, and have deep conversations. Participants will be asked to think deeply, speak persuasively, and listen carefully, whether the topic is a hot tech trend, an ethical problem, or a social issue.

There will be different rounds in the competition, such as Just-A-Minute (JAM), Extempore, and Formal Debate, that are meant to test different aspects of public speaking and arguments. These rounds are set up to encourage spontaneity, critical thought, and clear communication—skills that are important not only in school but also in job interviews, project presentations, and future leadership positions.

Samvad, which is put together by CS/IT students for the engineering society as a whole, shows how committed the Sanganak Shila Society is to development in all areas. With teacher mentors and a passionate group of student coordinators in charge, the event should go smoothly and give everyone involved a chance to learn and grow.

The society wants to build trust, respect for different points of view, and future technocrats who can speak with clarity and passion through Samvad. The event not only helps people grow as individuals, but it also creates a strong attitude on campus of dialogue, collaboration, and thought leadership.

The best performers will get certificates of excellence, and everyone who takes part will get a certificate of participation for showing excitement and having the courage to share their thoughts. Some of the best parts of the event will be shown on official Axis Colleges channels.

As the excitement grows, Samvad: Battle of Words will become more than just a battle. It will be a celebration of speech, intelligence, and the power of words.
